The weekend

Hmmm, actually ah... I cannot really remember what time I woke up on Saturday :/ Oh, ehz, I think it's late morning or early afternoon ba, since I left my house at about 2.15pm and I had lunch at home before that. My grandma made rice dumplings... the ones that she made this time tasted much better than the ones last time.

I headed for church, since we were to meet there before heading over to the JB branch. I think it was their mission congress. I went last year as well. The purpose was to put up a song item as a form of encouragement ba. Hmmm, the journey there too quite some time by car. I think it was already 6+ in the evening by the time we reached. I didn't really take note of the time taken since we were all busy trying to make sure that our car was following the one in front since we didn't know the way.

Dinner was supplied by the JB branch. Rice with vegetables, chicken, beancurd and one other dish which I have forgotten. The yellow-fleshed watermelon was sweet :P I ate quite a bit of it. There were red-fleshed watermelon, honeydew and muskmelon as well. I liked the muskmelon too... though they would have tasted better if they were sweeter :P

The event ended at about ehz... 11pm maybe. I fell asleep during the sermon :/ I was feeling sleeping and the cold air-conditioning made it worse... These, coupled with the pastor who was seemingly repeating his main points in different ways, eventually led me to dreamland. Well, I didn't dream though, just fell asleep for around 20 minutes ba.

It was already 12 midnite when we reached Singapore. I had to take a cab home, since the car that I was in wasn't going anywhere near my place. Quite fast though, from the MacRitchie area to my place. I reached home at about 12.30am ba. Not too bad, considering that we managed to avoid the jam at the Malaysia customs by using the one that's normally used by lorries I think. No queue at that one though. I don't think many people know about it... It's really ulu... and the entrance to it is rather obscure.

I switched on my computer, did the normal myFLASHbox website maintenance stuff, then decided to go sleep.

Ehz, woke up late this morning... took the MRT to Kallang station before taking a cab over to the church. The cab driver overshot the place (-.-)" and I had to walk a short distance. Anyway, was late by 15 mins for my sound duty. Fortunately, my friend was already there. Heh. Had lunch at the nearby hawker centre... ate Teriyaki Chicken Rice from the Japanese stall. It was home sweet home after that, but not before I went over to NTUC FairPrice to get some groceries. Planning to cook spaghetti again for lunch tomorrow... this time with more ingredients. Heh :P My first time cooking a "proper" meal ba. Ha

Ehz, took a nap when I reached home. myFLASHbox.notsniw.net now has over 700 users... but I think only slightly less than 600 are active users, since some people just subscribe for fun. Anyway, napped till quite late, then had dinner. It'll soon be the first of August. So fast.

Oh yar, MOE's very efficient leh. I accepted their job offer on Thursday morning, then Saturday receive the letter for the acceptance of my deferment le. So I'll be contacting them again only in April 2006, after my exams I guess... Then I think I'll most probably go NIE le. If not need to wait for another year, which is a little weird since I'm in time for the new intake in July 2006.

Okie, email count for the week...

Heute ist Freitag

And so we've come to the end of a week and soon, the start of another.

It's been a long time since I last typed in German. Nah, I'm not going to do it now... it'll take too long :P I doubt I'll have much chance to make use of the language in future. Perhaps only if I travel to Europe for vacation or something. I hope I'll be able to retain at least half of what I've learnt in these two years though... failing which it would really be sort of a waste :/

Hmmm, woke up an hour later than planned. I went to school... to the matriculation fair to help d0ng爷 get an iPod Mini at a discounted price of SGD320.25 (inclusive of GST). Hmmm, the laptops are really cheap now... SGD1688 for an iBook G4 with 1 Gig of RAM. I would have gotten it if I had the extra cash :P I've always wanted to own either an iBook or an iMac just for the sake of owning one. Heh. So stylish. There's also a materialistic side of me too.

Ehz, saw three friends when I was at the matriculation fair. Had lunch with one of them at YIH... ate the Fish'n'Chips. Hee. I've always liked YIH's western food stall. I think the Fish'n'Chips is really quite nice. It used to be rather oily. I think it has improved this semester. The stall has been around since I joined NUS and was ehz, downgraded to share a stall with the new nasi briyani one, after the canteen was renovated before the start of last semester.

Hmmm... came home, helped a friend edit some photos, played a little Neopets while editing the photos. Ah... took a nap, waking up in the evening to pass the iPod Mini to my friend at the MRT station. Dinner while watching tv, then "stone" in front of the monitor before deciding to write in this bloggie.

Tonight will be spent doing my HYP and some FLASH thingy. I'll be going to JB tomorrow for a church event. Just for the afternoon and night. Will be back by the end of the day I guess. The one that I attended last year ended quite late though... I hope tomorrow's one will end earlier :P

Zodiac match?

You scored as Aquarius. You get along best with the sign of Aquarius. Although Aquarians can be seem very odd, or over opinionated, they are good generous people. They are the humanitarians of the zodiac; they always put others in the place of themselves. Aquarians have a strong sense of individuality, and likewise, can be very eccentric. They usually have many friends because they are very easy to get along with, although at times, Aquarians can be withdrawn and introverted when they choose to be.

Put the glass down

Professor began his class by holding up a glass with some water in it.
He held it up for all to see & asked the students,' How much do you think this glass weighs?'

'50gms!' .... '100gms!' .....'125gms' ..the students answered.

'I really don't know unless I weigh it,' said the professor, 'but, my question is: What would happen if I held it up like this for a few minutes?'

'Nothing' the students said.

'Ok what would happen if I held it up like this for an hour?' the professor asked.

'Your arm would begin to ache' said one of the student. You're right, now what would happen if I held it for a day?'

'Your arm could go numb, you might have severe muscle stress & paralysis & have to go to hospital for sure!' ventured another student & all the students laughed. 'Very good. But during all this, did the weight of the glass change?' asked the professor.

'No'. Then what caused the arm ache & the muscle stress?' The students were puzzled.

'Put the glass down!' said one of the students.

'Exactly!' said the professor.' Life's problems are something like this.
Hold it for a few minutes in your head & they seem OK. Think of them for a long time & they begin to ache. Hold it even longer & they Begin to paralyze you. You will not be able to do anything.

It's important to think of the challenges (problems) in your life, but EVEN MORE IMPORTANT to 'put them down' at the end of every day before You go to sleep. That way, you are not stressed, you wake up every day fresh & strong & can handle any issue, any challenge that comes your way!'

So, When you leave office today, Remember friend to 'PUT THE GLASS DOWN TODAY!'

A long day

Ah, a relatively long day, considering the fact that I woke up at about 8am and only took a short nap in the afternoon.

Ok, so I mentioned in the last entry that I went for the MOE thingy in the morning. After that I came home, chatted on MSN for a while because a friend's friend required some help for the module bidding exercise, ate lunch, then took a nap.

Hmmm, ok, maybe the nap's not really that short. Ehz, about three hours ba :P I woke up, lazed around a little, then changed and went down to Tiong Bahru Plaza's Breadtalk to buy a cake for my brother, whose birthday was today. Hmmm, they didn't have the hazelnut one, so I made do with a mixed fruit de... called "Chantilly" or something. Had the cake-cutting session at night... Hmmm, the cake's quite nice. I still prefer Breadtalk's blackforest cake though. The blackforest cake is really good :P Though it's not like the normal blackforest cakes you find in ordinary cake shops.

Came home after buying the cake, rested for a while before heading down to church for worship practice. Well, this time, I had the chance to sing with the backup singers :P Try out only lah, since there was nothing much to do after the microphones and instruments were set up. Quite nice... but I guess I'm not quite suited for it. I think I have difficulties trying to make my voice sound "rounder" by controlling the amount of air escaping from the mouth when I sing. Anyway, a good experience... should try to learn how to sing parts.

Nothing much for the night. My sleeping pattern's still not right... :/

Accepted le

I woke up early this morning despite sleeping late the night before. Went down to MOE to attend a briefing with regards to the details of accepting the job offer and thus becoming a trainee teacher in the process. Well, I've accepted the job offer le, which means that I will eventually go and teach. Heh. Ehz, will be teaching Physics and Maths at the secondary level. Will the MOE interview that I went for a few weeks be the first and last "official" one that I'll experience in the whole of my life? Ha, I dunno... it just feels weird.

Anyway, shall write more about today later in the night. Will be going out soon. Anyway, here's what happened yesterday.

Ehz, didn't sleep much. I met up with my HYP supervisor and two of his colleagues at GIS in the morning at about 11am. Ah, considering that I haven't really done much in the past month, my supervisor's behaviour can be categorised as over-friendly... maybe it's because he wasn't around for quite some time as well. Anyway, more work to be done... and I finally found out why my calculations for the previous assignment was wrong. I didn't have the relevant information O.o Oh well, I've gotten it now... Hopefully I'll be able to get it right this time.

After the consultation, I went over to the NTUC FairPrice near my place to do some restocking. Decided to try cooking spaghetti for lunch... so I bought the noodles and a bottle of the normal tomato spaghetti sauce. Ehz, quite ok ba, considering that I cooked it in the same way I cook my instant noodles. Just spaghetti with tomato spaghetti sauce. Just like instant noodles with the soup base. Ha. Oh well, must learn how to cook... if not ah, always eat not-so-nice food when I'm alone :P

Did a bit of HYP stuff, then napped for about 15 minutes. But 15 minutes was enough for a dream... Ha, yep, dream again. Ehz, cried in my dream. It's quite stupid. I dreamt that someone close in my family was dying. Haiz, can't even have 15 minutes of peaceful sleep :/ Hmmm, went down to The Esplanade to collect a pair of free tickets to one of the performances in August. Ehz, got it because I was one of the first 55 to sign up or update my details for my Esplanade Youths account I think.

Came home, switched on my computer and logged in to mIRC. Well, drama again, this time involving the restocking system of the main shops in Neopets. Ok, a brief description of what happened. Normally, the main shops will restock at the start of the minute (if there are any, since restocks take place at an average of one per eight minutes) and the shops will restock all the items immediately, with the first main shop restocking at about 00 second of the minute, propagating to the other shops, the whole process taking less than 20 seconds I guess. One can easily buy items by waiting at a shop for the correct time and refresh only once to see all the new items.

What happened was that the system changed at about 5pm... to one which required one main shop to finish restocking before the next one can restock. What's more, the items did not appear all at once, but were staggered over perhaps one minute for each shop. The people who were in the mIRC channel were typing out the shop numbers of the shops that were restocking once in a while. I think I shall term it as "chasing the restock", since we had to go from shop to shop to buy items during a restock. So, if I wanted to buy something from a shop while it is restocking, I'll have to keep refreshing the page and grab the thing I want. Super tedious. Fortunately, it reverted back to the old system by the time I got back from giving tuition.

Ehz, yar, tuition in the evening, then home. I spent some time playing Neopets though. Yet another day closer to the day when school reopens for the new semester...

27 July 2005

Just a post which will serve as a reminder so that I'll remember what I want to type tomorrow for today's happenings...

- HYP consultation
- NTUC FairPrice
- Spaghetti for lunch
- HYP stuff
- Nap
- Esplanade
- Neopets drama (Yep, another one)
- Tuition
- Neopets

Ah, will have to wake up at 7.45am later... going down to MOE. Shall go bathe then sleep.

Neopets Dupe Day

Ah, need to pia my HYP stuff... so I'll try to type very very fast and make this a quick one. Though I think I have quite a lot to type for today, thought it's mainly just about Neopets stuff.

The day began when I woke up in the late morning to burn a CD for a friend who was supposed to collect it in the early afternoon but ended up coming over in the late afternoon instead. Had to do a bit of updating for the church website as well, since it will soon be "officially" launched to the youths of the church so that they can make use of it to obtain information.

Ok, I logged in the mIRC, into a Neopets channel, to discover a little commotion going on, which soon escalated into a big one. Yep, there was something going on, a glitch in the Neopets system which allowed people to duplicate items from their Safety Deposit Box. A few people were duplicating really expensive items and donating it to the rest of the Neopets users by placing them in the Money Tree, where anyone can go and take donated items for free.

It went on for a few hours, before the Neopets admin managed to control the situation. The aftermath? Well, the items were removed (I don't think all), user accounts were frozen... but I guess there would still be some people who managed to get something out of this whole mess.

A friend of mine was telling me about another glitch which happened last year, 4th of April to be exact. The password request feature was faulty and users can request for any other user's password which will be displayed immediately on screen. Quite scary isn't it. People could just log in to other people's account and take away their items and money. Of course, the aftermath would just be loads of unhappy users and some who had their accounts frozen.

Just one more thing... The Neopets shops restock at an average rate of once per eight minutes, which calculates to about seven or eight restocks per hour. Well, normally lesser. Something interesting happened today though... From 8 - 8.20pm, there was a total of eight restocks and I think the total for the hour was at least more than 12.

Now, on to an admin matter... I'm done with my module bidding for the new semester, since I managed to get the modules that I wanted at one point each. Yep, supply more than demand... so there wasn't really any bidding going on. So, in addition to my HYP module, I'll be taking the following three modules:

Module Code : CS4274
Module Title: MOBILE COMPUTING

Module Code : CS4272
Module Title: HARDWARE-SOFTWARE CO-DESIGN

Module Code : LSM1302
Module Title: GENES AND SOCIETY

Yep, I'm finally taking a very much Biology module after many many years =) I hope I'll be able to do well for it and do something about my miserable CAP score. Okie, bathe, then pia HYP. Consultation tomorrow morning at 11am. It has begun... again.

Actionscript

A small part of the day was spent trying to make a mini FLASH application... Actually, it's a timer which beeps every minute and has an option for setting it to start counting down at any second of a minute. Ah, nevermind if the explanation's not clear. The main thing is... I got it to work, but I don't know why it works. The final touch which made it work was a trial-and-error thingy. It's weird, just weird. Oh well, as long as it works, I'm not that eager to know how my coding works exactly.

Hmmm, slept late last night and thus woke up late this afternoon. Logged in to CORS to bid for my modules. I'll be taking "Genes and Society" for fun, as an extra module. I hope I can get a nice grade for it, since the other two 4000-level modules don't look promising at all. Neither does my HYP :/

It rained in the evening though, quite heavy rain. It's been quite some time since I last went out when it's raining. The rain always reminds me that I have to wash my sandals, since dirty sandals give a weird sensation when they are wet.
The evening was spent giving tuition to my cousins. Dinner was fried kway teow. It's been quite some time since I last ate that too.

Nothing much happened today actually... just like how everyday is. I'm waiting for my hair to grow longer. I think it's still a little too short. Short hair makes me look thin. A friend commented that the last time he had seen my hair this short was when I was serving National Service. To think that the comment was made about one or two weeks after my hair was cut.

Okie, shall grab something to eat, bathe, then go sleep. I'll have to wake up early later to look at my module bidding status.

Swedish?

You Should Learn Swedish

Fantastisk! You're laid back about learning a language - and about life in general.
Peaceful, beautiful Sweden is ideal for you... And you won't even have to speak perfect Swedish to get around!

And I thought German was the language for me :P

Sleepy Sunday

I overslept this morning... so I didn't attend the morning service nor the bible study class :/ I went to church though, since there was a rehearsal for an event which will be held this coming Saturday and I had volunteered to give a fellow churchmate some guidance for Maths. It started to rain when I reached Lavender MRT and I had to use the umbrella, since the bridge that I had to cross to get to my church wasn't sheltered.

Anyway, had a weird dream again, this time involving two of my good friends from my primary school days. Hmmm, the dream had a ghostly element to it, perhaps just to make it more exciting. Ha. Anyway, after thinking about it, I realised that perhaps the dream was highlighting a problem that I have: the inability to manage things that I have to do. It's sort of like... I want to do a lot of things, but the thing is that time does not permit me to and most of the time I'll end up trying to get a few things done at the same time. Well, I was lucky in the dream because I managed to find a friend to help me settle one matter, so that I was able to attend to another one. I should stop bothering about other people's business and just settle my own ba. Seems that things might be getting out of hand.

Was in church till about 2.15pm... then came home. I dropped by NTUC FairPrice to get the weekly groceries aka snacks before going home though. Hmmm, bought quite a bit of titbits :P It won't last too long... I'll have to go buy more towards the end of the week. Hmmm, changed some pages for the myFLASHbox website, replaced my old bloggie with this one and took a short nap. I woke up when my cousins reached my place... tuition. It's been quite some time since they last came over. I play more of the role of a consultant when tutoring them though. Quite relaxing :P

I was wondering before I fell asleep last night... What's the difference between "I miss seeing you" and "I miss not seeing you"? Then I realised that the latter one carries with it a negative connotation because of the "not". Funny how the brain works sometimes. Just one "not" also make me think till blur blur. Heh

The switch

Ah well, I've decided to switch to Blogspot earlier... since this one's quite ready. The comment notification system isn't that good, but I'll try to reply to comments as promptly as possible.

Ok, so here's the launch of bloggie.notsniw.net: blogspot version 1.0 :P

4000-level modules :/

I was looking at the module websites for the two 4000-level modules that I will be taking. Ermz, a bit scare-ded. I think it's going to be a tough semester, with just that two modules and my HYP. Now having second thoughts about taking an extra GEM. The number of actual hours spent in school will not be as much as the number of hours spent working on the assignments and projects that the modules will have.

It's time for some serious time-planning... and about time to maybe start panicking a little. I expect the timetable to be rather empty, with most of the time spent doing research and such. The final year is going to be stressful for an average student like me.

An entry with two parts

Hmmm, I actually want to write about two things today. Actually the other thing was supposed to be written yesterday. Anyway, I shall break today's entry into two parts.

Part I: My day

The day started rather late as usual. I just cannot make myself wake up early, no matter how hard I try. I guess it's partially due to the fact that I don't really have something to do. Actually I do, but since those things are not urgent, there's no pressing need for me to wake up early. Well, ate a late lunch, stoned in front of my computer monitor for a while, showered and left my place.

I waited at the bus-stop for a while before realising that I could have waited at the wrong location. I called my friend, who confirmed my mistake. I was supposed to meet him at the MRT station, not the bus-stop. Ah well, me and my lousy memory. I kept having the impression that I was going to Orchard when we had agreed to go down to Bugis.

Anyway, the MRT station's just beside the bus-stop, so it's only a matter of walking a short distance. It's been quite a while since I last went shopping... and since it's going to be the end of the Great Singapore Sale soon, I might as well get some clothes to prepare for the start of the semester.

Ah, I bought three items... one jeans, one bermuda and one polo T-shirt. Ehz, spent more than SGD100 loh. The jeans was the most expensive pair I've got so far. I normally get Giordano ones... Well, since I seldom buy jeans de, so I didn't really mind paying more for a suitable pair. I think the Samuel & Kevin bermudas was a good buy... I've been searching for a suitable pair of bermudas for quite some time already... and getting a suitable one at 40% discount is well, highly fortunate I would say :P

The breakdown of the prices are as follows:
Lawman jeans: ~SGD70 (jeans + alteration, original price: SGD79.90)
Samuel & Kevin bermudas: SGD21 (original price: SGD35)
F-Men polo T-shirt: ~SGD16 (original price: SGD23)

My friend and I walked over to City Hall to have a look at the fireworks. It's the final rehearsal for NDP2005. We managed to catch the mobile column as well as the floats. The fireworks lasted for quite some time despite it being only a rehearsal. There were some really pretty ones. Ah, too bad I hadn't brought my camera along. In fact, I didn't bring any bag along when I left my place. Heh

Hmmm, walked back to Bugis to collect my altered jeans, stopping at the new National Library building to take a look. Hmmm, the library takes level B1 and level 7 onwards. The rest is taken up by the Drama Center I think. Ehz, quite ok ba... very spacious. The toilet walls are a bit ermz, not so nice though. They used those small, mosaic tiles... a bit off, compared to the general design of the building and the other walls. Dinner was at McDonalds. Yep, that's about it for the evening... tiring siah, walk and walk and walk. It's a fruitful trip though, managed to get a pair of jeans and a pair of bermudas.

Part II: My final year in NUS

Ok, the next semester will apparently be rather relaxing, with only two three-hour lectures so far, on Monday and Friday mornings. Not sure if there are tutorials and labs. I haven't done my research. Will do it before bidding starts on Monday. I'm considering taking up a GEM module as an extra module, just to make use of my bidding points and maybe try to use it to improve my CAP score.

I was chatting with my friend on MSN two nights ago, when he made me realise that I actually don't have to take any modules, other than my HYP module, during my final semester in NUS. I had actually planned to take a 4000 level Computer Science (CS) module... but since it is an Unrestricted Elective (UE) and I've already cleared an extra module (German 4) as UE, I can actually don't take the 4000 level CS module, since I've already fulfilled the criteria.

I might consider taking some other extra modules during the final semester, or not take any at all, once I have confirmed that I've fulfilled the criteria for graduation. If I'm not taking any modules... I don't even have to go to school, except when I have to meet my HYP supervisor. Ha, cannot imagine leh. Anyway, I'll decide after the first semester... have to see my CAP score :/ I doubt I'll be able to get a 3rd class honours... Haiz.

Eighty-8

Actually the 'g's a treble clef... Ei(treble clef)hty-8, the concert organised by the VJC Piano Ensemble. 7.30pm at VJC's Performance Theatre. My second time there... the first was about a year ago. I've got a church friend who performed in three items and her elder sister who graduated last year performed in one. Didn't know the elder one's performing... we only got flowers for the younger one :/

Eunice Olsen was the guest performer, together with someone called Calin Wong who's supposed to be quite good at the piano. Eunice Olsen played on the piano while Calin Wong sang... two Jazz songs, "Quando x 3" and "Over the Rainbow". Well, all I can say is that perhaps Calin Wong isn't suitable for singing Jazz songs. Either that, or I don't know how to appreciate Jazz. Anyway, Eunice Olsen became the "配角" because she was playing at the piano... I didn't even hear her speak loh.

All in all, the concert was enjoyable. I quite like a piece titled "Elektrik" performed by two alumni members... a bit of the Maksim style. The background music bass accompaniment was a little too loud though. A pity. The melody part was good, although I was straining my ears to try to catch it.

Saw the cousin of a good friend of mine... went over to say hi to her. She's now a teacher at VJC. She was from the same batch as me when we were at TJC, two classes away from my class I think. My friend told me that she didn't know who I am... so, since I saw her, I went over to say hi. Yep, me saying hi to someone whom I've never spoken to before... and at a public place somemore. Ha. Oh well, we're supposed to know each other by name anyway. So it's nothing. I hope I didn't frighten her or something... since the first thing I did was to call her name from behind her seat.

I went down to school earlier in the afternoon to clear my locker, only to discover that I only have an empty box in there. An empty packaging for a Creative mouse which one of my coursemates helped me get when he was at the Creative fair last year or early this year I think. Oh well, I had to take back the lock anyway, so it wasn't really a wasted trip. Met a friend who had graduated and was in school to use the Internet because her laptop's internal modem wasn't working. Erm, it's been faulty since the beginning of the year loh...

Dropped by the Co-op before going home. I bought ream of printing paper as well as an eraser (the kind whereby the eraser dust will stick together de) for my cousin. She's always losing her erasers... hope she'll take good care of this one. Came home from school, bought food (lunch + dinner), ate and left my place to go down to Bedok MRT to meet my friends before we headed for the concert.

Hmmm, Xiaxue's blog was hacked and restored. I'm waiting for her entry on how it got restored. I think Blogspot helped her... there couldn't be any other means of a full restore without involvement from the Blogspot team.

Dreams

Well, I'm supposed to only blog here when August comes... but ehz, for convenience and perhaps for continuation from the old bloggie in August, these few days' daily entries will be included here as well. Of course, this particular one is not a daily entry, just one of the sudden urges to want to write what's on my mind down.

Had a dream this morning. Talking about weird dreams, this is another weird one. I dreamt that my friends and I had to do two surveys and I had the choice to not do it, if I paid two dollars to the surveyor (who happens to be one of my lecturers, the Networks II one to be exact). So, I paid the two dollars and did not have to do the surveys.

The next weird thing was that I had to help a few friends pay for something... and yep, it's two dollars per person. Being who I am, I normally wouldn't bother to get it back from people, since I don't really like to bother about money matters, especially when it's not a large sum of money. But... I followed them all over the place just to remind them to pay me back the money. Rather weird, rather weird... Perhaps it's a signal for me to get money back from one of my friend. Heh. Ah well...

Hmmm, have to go down to school to clear my locker... I don't remember what I have in there, so it's better to just go down to take a look. Just in case I were to regret if they cleared the locker and threw what I wanted away.

The Plan

Ok, here's the plan... I'll be switching over to this Blogger blog from August 2005 onwards, until I find time to come up with something better of my own (Possibly making use of currently available blog software, but I dread customising those... not really user friendly). So I guess I should be stuck with Blogger for at least one year... Not much of a problem actually, since I'm rather sure that using Blogger should suffice. Things are simpler, layouts are easier to make or modify from those available at Blogskins.com.

The first layout is simple... to facilitate the switch-over. Since there are other issues about past entries that I'll have to settle. With the new school semester starting, and HYP to be done, I don't really have much time on hand to bother with my bloggie :P

Okie, till August~

An Experiment

Hmmm, considering that Blogger has this function to publish to my webhost instead of a Blogger address, I think I can consider switching over to Blogger, just for convenience sake. It wouldn't be a bad thing, since I can still keep a copy of my entries as emails sent to me...

The good thing about using this form is that there are more customisable stuff such as colours, which my personal blog form cannot provide. The only bad thing I can think of is the possibility that web traffic might be high and thus, I might not be able to post sometimes. I guess that's acceptable, weighing the advantages and disadvantages. Perhaps I would not be able to store the comments... but that can be rectified by doing some manual work if I want to.

My first post in this newly created blog of mine... Just to test the system =)
