I can hear everything except 18.8Hz and 22.4Hz.

It's kinda funny. 17.7Hz is faint, but all the rest are ok. Not sure if my ears are having selective hearing for ultrasonic ringtones...

Hmmm, I think I can hear the 17.7kHz also now... if I turn up the volume of the speakers. Very faint though.

madchemist > Your ears are starting to fail you :P

Boon > Yea... think 16.7kHz is about normal

toukarin > It just doesn't make sense ah... how can you hear something that is between two frequencies that you cannot hear? O.o Think your ears really got problem lidat.

Yah I also dunno why. I tried straining my ears like mad also cannot hear 18.8Hz. But the next few I can hear until 22.4Hz (the last one on the list).

Weird huh. Or maybe they map the frequencies wrong on the list... or our speakers can't produce the sounds at certain frequencies.

ok, latest finding. I turned up my speaker really loud (i usually don't blast music you see)and guess what, i can hear everything except the last one. Heh. :P Sometimes i wonder if our own speak is causing all the differences among us.

I seriously think it could be the case.
Usually our normal speakers aren't made to play at such frequencies... I recall some speakers actually have the range they do play on their boxes?

Maybe my 18.8Hz was coming out from the sub-woofer instead of the twin speakers. =P

Absolutely. Failure in scientific methodology to verify this household "experiment".

Ah well, just do it for fun lo... At least we know our ears are generally normal, expect for toukarin's which seem weird.

Haha. Think it's just me. When I was still an anti-pirate I can differentiate .mp3 from .wav with my right ear. CD quality is just different to me last time.
