Term 1 Week 1
Well, three days in school seems like forever... and it's only one official day of teaching >.<
As mentioned in previous entries, I've got more to do this year... and it's the first time I'm having a full school year ahead for me. The first few days in school were rather hectic, with quite a bit of administative stuff to settle. I'm glad that most of the administrative baggage has been cleared. It's now time to concentrate on the teaching.
I've got quite a number of preparations every week... it's one preparation for one class and I've got four classes, not including CME, IPW etc. I think it'll be a super hectic year ahead. As some of my colleagues have mentioned... I will take things one step at a time. I'm still rather new to the job and there are many things for me to learn and get used to. I believe that I will be able to manage =]
If I can survive next week, I think I will be able to survive the rest of the year. Heh

See? Being a teacher IS getting the worst job, because you not only have to worry your head off regarding homework and student discipline, you also have to think about marks - AND help if they ask crazy questions!
Hey, it's not worth it even with the pay rise and presents on teacher's day, not to mention the possibility of becoming the butt of their jokes.
When I grow up, I'm jolly well not gonna be a teacher. Too much stress - I get enough as a student.

depends. there's many ways to teach. even my baking instructor is also a teacher. doesn't have to be officially at MOE.
also, if one of those teachers you dread do change the course of your life, and turn it for the better, then you'd take a different perspective. you'd also want to give someone a second chance when someone does give you that, especially so from a teacher.
i hope somethin positive will come out of the whole study ordeal. have a great 2008.
