NEWater
I'm sho sho tired... after a day of following my Maths class to the NEWater plant at Tanah Merah. So tired... that I fell asleep while setting their Maths test in the staff room >.<". The trip was quite ok though. I felt that the part on the different processes of producing NEWater was interesting... all the ultrafiltration, reverse osmosis and UV treatment stuff.
Went past the city area on the bus and saw the stage for NDP this year, as well as the super big ferris wheel that is still under construction. It's really huge lo.
Oh yar, had my first formal observation by my NIE supervisor this morning. Quite glad that the class was rather cooperative and didn't "sabo" me. Ha. It went quite ok I guess, except for the fact that I appeared rather flustered and was perspiring. I normally don't do so much with the students in an hour. The only thing that I'll have to really take note of would be to not clutter my lesson with lots of nitty-gritty, exam-oriented stuff, but rather the concepts that they should be learning.
I think I quite like the idea of having observations. I can improve on my lessons, given constructive feedback =]
Two more days before the week is through... My lessons for the week are almost done, since I do not have lessons on Thursdays. I can work on next week's lessons then... since my observations from the school side should be starting soon.
Shall go bathe, finish up with setting the test and go have an early rest. Pleasant week to all.
